Overview
The "Autonomous Driving UX Creation Challenge" is an "ideathon" held with the theme of fully autonomous driving user experience (UX) as a new initiative to acquire and develop software human resources for the mobility DX platform. We aim to have participants deepen their understanding of fully automated driving by brushing up on their ideas with mentors and interacting with other participants.
This challenge will consist of three parts: an introductory event, a qualifying tournament, and a final tournament.
【Schedule】
December 11th Introduction event
December 11th to January 17th Qualifying (document screening)
February 15th Finals (face-to-face)
At this introductory event, we will provide an overview of the "Autonomous Driving UX Creation Challenge" and provide a thorough explanation of the evolution of autonomous driving technology and the challenges facing its future social implementation!
In "Part 1: Current Status of Autonomous Driving,"we will clarify what can be achieved with current technology and the issues that need to be solved regarding autonomous driving technology. We will deepen your understanding of autonomous driving technology by providing know-how gained through test drives, operational examples in limited areas such as inside factories, and familiar implementation examples using small robots.
In "Part 2: The Future of Social Implementation," we imagine a future society in which fully automated driving is widespread, and explore the possibilities that new services and business models will bring. We will touch on the effects of introducing this technology in areas where there is a serious driver shortage, the importance of community formation to deepen understanding of autonomous driving, and consider the role that engineers and AI experts will play in social implementation.
It is difficult to implement technology into society simply by refining the technology to drive cars safely. Would you like to take a step toward envisioning a future transportation experience while imagining a world free from driving?
*The distribution URL will be sent to applicants via email.
