  Graduated from the doctoral program at the Kanazawa University Graduate School of Science and Technology. Ph.D. (Engineering). He has been engaged in research into autonomous driving since 1998, and in 2015 began the first public road driving demonstration by a university in Japan. He founded Movies, Inc. in 2024, where he continues to work to this day.
